Synopsis

The movie Amityville 3-D (1983) is the third installment in the Amityville horror franchise. It follows a skeptical journalist investigating the infamous possessed house.

Reporter John Baxter is sent to expose the Amityville house hoax. He moves into the house with his wife and daughter to prove there is no evil presence. However, they soon experience terrifying supernatural occurrences.

The movie Amityville 3-D (1983) depicts increasingly frightening paranormal events plaguing the family, including demonic visions and ghosts reenacting past murders. John hires a medium to conduct a seance which unleashes a demonic force.

John’s daughter becomes possessed, attacking and nearly killing his wife. Desperate, John consults a priest who confirms the demonic presence is dangerously real. In the climactic finale, the house manifests evil illusions until John is able to defeat the demonic entity.

The movie Amityville 3-D (1983) ends with the house destroyed by an explosion, finally ending its cursed legacy. John and his family escape, now believing in the supernatural evil of Amityville.
