Synopsis
The movie Bride of Re-Animator (1990) continues the gory franchise as Dr. Herbert West returns to Miskatonic University to conduct his experiments reanimating the dead.
Several months after the mayhem at Miskatonic, West and Dan Cain resume their research studies on campus. They work to perfect West’s reanimation serum and create life from dead body parts sewn together.
The movie Bride of Re-Animator (1990) follows West’s new experiments to build his ideal mate using pieces of dead women. When the grotesque creation awakens, things quickly spiral out of control leading to more gory havoc.
In the violent climax, the zombie Bride goes on a rampage until West is forced to destroy her and his lab to cover up his mad science. But he still dreams of perfecting his horrific experiments.

Director Brian Yuzna went on to make From Beyond and Society.
It took nearly 7 years to develop the sequel.
