Madman (1981)

Synopsis

The movie Madman (1981) is an American slasher horror film directed by Joe Giannone. The story takes place at a summer camp, where a group of camp counselors gather around a campfire. One of them tells the chilling tale of Madman Marz, a farmer who went on a murderous rampage one night years ago.

According to the legend, Madman Marz brutally butchered his wife and children before disappearing into the woods. It is said that anyone who speaks his name above a whisper will summon his vengeful spirit.

As the counselors continue their campfire story, one of them arrogantly calls out Madman Marz’s name, unknowingly awakening the dormant evil. Soon, the campers and counselors find themselves being stalked and hunted by the legendary killer.

Madman Marz, armed with an axe, relentlessly pursues his victims through the dark and foreboding forest.
