Synopsis

The movie The Dark Side of the Moon (1990) is a sci-fi horror film directed by D.J. Webster and starring Joe Turkel, Camilla More, and Alan Blumenfeld. It follows a rescue ship crew that encounters a mysterious dark force on the moon.

The movie The Dark Side of the Moon (1990) opens with a space rescue squad responding to a ship’s distress signal coming from the dark side of the moon. The crew, led by Captain Shepherd, finds the abandoned ship but no survivors. However, they soon experience technical issues and bizarre occurrences like loss of gravity as an unknown evil force attacks them.

Trapped on the lunar surface, the crew suffers violent deaths one by one. Paranoia mounts as the remaining crew suspects each other while the evil force possesses and kills them. Trying to escape, Shepherd and his remaining crewmates discover a strange shrine made from old ships and human remains orbiting the moon.

In the climactic battle, Shepherd destroys the shrine, seemingly defeating the dark force. But the evil survives and chases the rescue ship back to Earth.
