Synopsis
The movie The Initiation (1984) follows a university sorority pledge who starts experiencing frightening visions and supernatural events.
Kelly Fairchild is a college student pledging to join her mother’s old sorority. She starts having recurring nightmares about a mysterious burned man murdering her father when she was a girl.
The movie The Initiation (1984) shows Kelly drawn to an abandoned department store from her nightmares. During her sorority initiation, she and several pledges break into the store at night. However, a killer starts stalking and murdering them one by one.
Kelly’s boyfriend tries tracking her down as the body count rises inside the sinister store. In the intense climax, the burned killer is revealed to be Kelly’s father, who survived the fire that disfigured him. Kelly defeats him but becomes disturbed by her family’s dark secrets.
